A different Angle ✿

Hi my lovely readers,

I'm back again with a story I read on another blog recently. This story has a lot to teach us. We always crave for things we don't have and never really appreciate the little things we have close to us. even me, I see new offers in the catalogs and always jump us saying I need that , its on offer now . In reality , these material things  are not what we need in life. Life is much more than that. Love everything and everyone around you and you'll not have tat empty space in you life to fill up with unwanted material things. :)

So now to the story ....

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.

They spend a coupe of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from the trip, the father asked his son, ' How was the trip?'

" It was great Dad,''

" Did you see how poor people live?'' the father asked

" Oh, yeah." said the son

" So tell me what did you learn from the trip?'' asked the father

The son answered, " I saw that we have one dog and they have four. We have a pool that reaches to the middle of the garden and they have a creek that has no end. We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have stars at night. Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

" We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight."

" We have servants to serve us, but they serve others. We buy food but they grow theirs."

" We have walls around our property to protect us, but they have friends to protect them. "

The boys father was speechless.

Then His son added , " Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."

Life is so inspiring event at the worst of times.

If you guys have any similar inspiring stories , feel free to post them in the comments bellow.

Love ♥ ,
